The new chart is likely to be rolled out tonight where Rs 199 and Rs 299 recharge plans each with 28 days validity will be included.
Under Rs 199 plan, users get 1.2 GB of 4G data per day for 28 days, and with Rs 299 plan, users get 2GB data every day for 28 days. Either of these plans come with unlimited voice calling, SMS and free access to all the Jio mobile applications including music, movies, magazines, newspapers, etc.
Rs 309 and Rs 149 Jio packs
Before this New Year scheme, it was only with Rs 309 recharge that users had 1GB of daily data limit. With Jio Rs 149 recharge, users get validity of 28 days where they get 4GB data and 300 free SMS.
New Year offer in 2016
In 2016, Jio had launched Happy New Year offer just after a few months of setting up their commercial operations. By then, it offered 1GB of 4G data with 90 days validity along with free voice calls, SMS even during roaming, and free access to all Jio apps. JioPhone users have Rs 150 recharge pack as the least priced monthly pack, to note.
