Voters list correction period extended

Generally, the correction activities of the preparation of final voters list get completed before end October in Tamil Nadu.
However, the Indian Election Commission had already issued an order extending the period for voters’ list correction activity by 1 more month – until end November.
As the task of making house-to-house visits and checking and verifying the voters’ list is still to be completed, it has been ordered that the time duration for the activity of the correction of the voters’ list is extended up to 15th December.
