A Carnatic Paradigm: The Algebra of Listening, 2017

A Carnatic Paradigm is a UK-India Year of Culture project curated by Mark Fell, with Nakul Krishnamurthy and Rian Treanor. The project, produced by AC Projects, with the support of British Council and Creative Scotland is an exploration of Carnatic music and emergent sound arts. It is a multi-speaker surround sound installation with a reading room presented as an `open to public` indoor installation. It also includes a performance, talk by the artist and workshops.

AC Projects is working with partners and holding a series of performances, sound installations and workshops in Kolkata (2 – 3 Dec), Chennai (6-7 Dec) and Fort Kochi (16 – 17 Dec). After Kolkata, the show travels to Chennai and Fort Kochi working in collaboration with EarthSync and The Pepper House.
