Rain to persist for the next 3 days in Tamil Nadu

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are strong prospects of medium rain for the next 3 days in Tamil Nadu.
The Director of the Chennai Meteorological Centre, S. Balachandran, explained that the depression formed earlier over the southwest region of the Bay of Bengal is still stable in that location. Due to this, there are strong prospects of medium rain in the next 3 days in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
There are prospects of medium rain several in the Northern coastal areas of Tamil Nadu and a few place in the Southern coastal Tamil Nadu. There may be mild rain in the interior districts.
Chennai Metro may experience intermittent medium showers a few times. There are good prospects of heavy rain in a few places in the Northern coastal areas.
