Schools in Chennai, Thiruvallur & Kanchipuram districts reopening today (Nov 7) after lasting holidays.
Chennai district collector have announced that all Schools will be reopen today except 9 schools in Chennai.
Only 10 schools will be closed today in Kanchipuram as per district collector order.
8 Higher secondary schools, 3 primary schools & 1 matric school in Thiruvallur that are remain closed today. All others schools will be reopen today.
Works to reopen schools today, the 7th November, across Chennai, Thiruvallur & Kanchipuram districts are taking place in full swing.
Classrooms and school premises are getting cleaned and revamped for routine functioning of schools from today. Teachers and volunteers are actively taking part in the cleaning work.
Works to test electrical appliances for possible faults in them are also being done. It is also announced that the students should not touch any switch board or other electrical appliances. School managements can dial 104 for technical advice and support.
It is to be noted that Schools in Chennai, Thiruvallur & Kanchipuram districts have been shut for over one week.
