Coaching Centers for NEET and other competitive exams open up

The School Education Department has opened up exclusive coaching centers where aspirants of competitive exams including NEET will be trained. Admissions in these centers can be obtained on http://tnschools.gov.in which is the official portal of Tamil Nadu Government Schools.
Enrolments had begun earlier this week. After Diwali holidays, enrolments are expected at these centers, say officials. The heads of government and government-aided schools is in the process of collecting student information of those interested in this coaching. The heads of schools will have to register student names online. October 26 is the last date for admission.
The State President of Tamil Nadu Teachers Association, P.K. Ilamaran stressed on the need for revamped syllabus for aiding students in attempting such exams. Qualified teaching staff members should be appointed in these centers, says Ilamaran.
In addition, centralized extra classes are also being conducted at Subbarayan Chennai Higher Secondary School and Saidapet Girls Higher Secondary School where Corporation school students are given coaching
