Excessive noise pollution in Chennai

The pollution control board has informed that the level of the noise pollution has increased as compared to the average in the Chennai Metro City.
The pollution control board conducted experiments in 5 selected places in Chennai. After analyzing the results, it is found that there is a remarkable increase in the noise pollution in Chennai - especially between 6.00 AM to 10.00 PM yesterday (Deepavali, 18th October, Wednesday), the noise pollution was very high.
The Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board will come up with exact details and will announce the same by this evening (Thursday, 19th October).
