Have you linked Aadhar and PAN?

Are you done with linking your Aadhar with PAN card? Today is the last day to link your Aadhar card with PAN card. As per sources from the Unique Identification Authority of India, there will be no extension of deadline further, and today is the final.
On 31st July 2017, the Central Board of Direct Taxes said even if ITR is not filed within the deadline of 5th August, one will not be able to get income tax return without linking Aadhar and PAN card.
Those who have applied for Aadhar and waiting for the card to arrive can provide Aadhar card application acknowledgement.
When there is any trouble faced during linking of Aadhar and PAN card today – 31st August 2017, it will be that you haven’t filed your returns for the present financial year. There will be no use of filing ITR and it will be useless. You will be bound to face the consequences of non-filing of ITR. If ITR is not processed, no refund credit will be made to your bank account.
For verifying Aadhar card linking with PAN card, it is very simple. Login to your account with the IT e-filing at https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in. Once logged in, look for Profile Setting. And click on it to check whether the linking is done there.
