3 months imprisonment if not having original driving licence

Chennai Traffic Police has informed that it is mandatory that all vehicle owners must keep their original licence while driving.
It is informed that the persons without the proper original driving licence will be imprisoned for 3 months or to pay a fine of Rs. 500 or may be both.
