New currency notes of Rs. 50 in circulation

The Reserve Bank of India had announced earlier that new currency notes of the denomination of Rs. 50 were to be released. Now, the new notes of Rs. 50 have been in circulation throughout the country.
The new currency notes of Rs. 50 had been despatched to the Chennai RBI and arrived yesterday (Wednesday, 23rd August) in Chennai.
These new notes of Rs, 50 will be in circulation from today in Chennai and Coimbatore.
The RBI circles informed that some more bundles of the new Rs. 50 currency notes are to be set off in circulation and the new notes would be in circulation throughout the state of Tamil Nadu shortly.
