Electronic-printed tickets to be issued in all MTC buses from 20th Aug

Arrangements have been made to issue electronic-printed tickets in all the MTC buses running in the Chennai Metro City from 20th August.
As per the order of the State Minister of Transport, a survey was undertaken at the Chennai Secretariat by a team presided by the Additional secretary of the state government department of transport regarding the electronic printing and issuing of tickets in all the Transport Corporations.
During this survey, the senior officials from the companies which are in the field of electronic printing of tickets, Analogics Tech India Ltd explained about the various activities undertaken for the smooth and excellent functioning of the electronic ticket printing systems.
It has been decided to immediately upgrade the existing electronic printing machines and to implement the introduction of electronic ticket printing in all the MTC buses running in the Chennai Metro City.
This will facilitate easier issuing of tickets by the conductor and the passengers to get them.
