PFRDA launches mobile app called National Pension Scheme Lite

On Friday, the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority called PFRDA launched a mobile app called National Pension Scheme Lite (NPS Lite) to all the Atal Pension Yojana scheme.
Official data states that there are around 58 lakh subscribers to the APY app as on 22nd July.
Now, all of these subscribers can download NPS Lite app from Google PlayStore. Thus, subscribers can easily have quick view of statement of account and other APY account details with the ease of using the mobile app, said PFRDA.
It is also to be remembered that the subscribers need to link their Aadhar number with their APY account.
Atal Pension Yojana eligibility
If an individual is eligible for availing benefits of APY scheme, he has to provide all proofs of Aadhar card and undergo Aadhar verification process.
Until the time when the individual is assigned with an Aadhar card, he can avail the scheme benefits by providing the below mentioned documents:
A copy of their Aadhar enrolment request should be given if he or she has applied for Aadhar
Identification documents like bank passbook, post office passbook along with photo, PAN card, passport, ration card, voter ID, Kisan photo passbook, driving license, etc.
