Heat intensity to be higher in Tamil Nadu

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that the temperature may go up by 5 Degrees Celsius in the next 24 hours in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
An official from the centre explained that due to the low moisture content in the air, cloud gathering process is prevented. The prospects of rain are reduced and there is an increase in the temperature.
A cyclonic format is developing in the upper layers of the atmosphere over the Mannar Bay, Kanyakumari and the nearby areas. As the wind blows from the Southeast, the moisture content in the air will increase and enable the formation of cloud gathering. There are prospects of rain in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on 28th, 29th, and 30th July.
