Engaging 21st century students through Core Skills workshop

British Council is organising a series of workshops for the professional development of teachers in Chennai on 28 July 2017. The workshops are aimed at developing capacity of teachers and leaders to engage with 21st century learners through Core Skills. British Council invites schools to register for the workshop.

The key objectives of the Core Skills project are:
- To provide training on Core Skills pedagogy to teachers in South India
- To enable these teachers to use student-centred approaches in their lessons in line with the recommendations of the NCF (2005) and to inculcate Core Skills thinking in students.
- Establish a framework for Continuing Professional Development for school teachers including Core Skills pedagogy and learning.
