Anna University exam timetable released in advance

There are 627 engineering colleges functioning under Anna University. The semester examinations are scheduled and conducted in a planned manner. Henceforth, the timetable for the practical exams and the dates for the written tests will also be released at the start of the academic year. This would reduce the anxiety and tension among the students and should facilitate them to prepare well in advance.
The timetable for the current semester (July-November 2017):
- Release of the timetable for final examinations – 24th July
- The last working date – 21st October.
- Practical Examinations – 25th to 28th October
- Final semester exams – 30th October to 30th November.
- Semester holidays – Up to 17th December.
- The start of the next semester – 18th December.
As the semester exams are completed before 18th December, the students will get 2 to 4 weeks of holidays.

The timetable for other exams will be released on 24th July.
