Until today, all the presumptions about Reliance jio’s 4G feature phone priced Rs 500 was a rumor. Here is a new leaked picture of the device. In the last week, there were reports about Jio that it is likely to launch 4G feature phone for Rs 500. In these images, we can observe a lot more details about the upcoming device.
Reports state that it is a black feature phone with camera of 2MP at the back. It looks like an average phone and comes with Jio Lyf branding on it. The branding has so far been seen on the company’s smartphone line-ups.
As it is of very low price, it will move many customers to buy and make a shift in the 4G network without wanting to buy expensive smartphone. It is still unclear whether the device will be launched along with Reliance Jio offer or will get launched as a standalone model.
It is highly likely that the 4G phone will also have Reliance Jio connection, as the company will subsidize 2-3rd of its original price. In most other developed nations, similar models are in use where the manufacturers have a tie up and bring down handset rates drastically.
