Soon Jio smartphones at Rs. 500

Reliance Jio, which made a sensational entry into the telecom services market with very low rates for data, is now set for the next sensational announcement.
Following the introductory announcement of Jio, the customers strength has touched 112.55 Million.
Now, Jio has planned the next step – offering smartphone as Rs. 500. The AGM (Annual General Meeting) of Reliance Jio is scheduled on 21st July. Either on 21st July or early August, Jio will be announcing this new offer.
There was an earlier information that Jio was planning to sell smartphones at a price of Rs. 1000. Now, exceeding even this expectation, Jio is set to offer smartphones at lower prices.
It is also learned that Reliance Jio is set to announce new plans on 15th August.
In order to attract more customers, 2G customers can straightaway change over to 4G by buying this new smartphone. The price of the smartphone is fixed at Rs. 500. Jio has planned to sell only a limited number of these smartphones.
Still, it is widely expected that more customers are likely to buy these new smartphones to change over from 2G to 4G platform.
With this, Jio has fixed the starting price of the new Dhan Dhana Dhan offer at Rs. 150 per month. Jio is also set to announce concessional schemes of Rs. 80 to Rs. 90.
Presently, under the Dhan Dhana Dhan offer, at Rs. 309 or Rs. 509, free voice calls, unlimited SMS, Jio Apps, and 1 GB to 2 GB data per day. The Prime members get these concessions at Rs. 99.
