Here is Vodafone Red Shield, a new introduction from Vodafone. This offers complete device security along with insurance on smartphones as compliment. Under this, users get up to Rs 50,000 as protection cover for newly bought handsets and 6 months old ones. At present, it is available exclusively for Vodafone RED Post Paid customers. This kind of device protection is the one and only of its kind apart from the handset damage cover where users get handset damage cover and complimentary insurance cover for up to 6 months of purchase.

You can get the Vodafone Red Shield App at Google Play Store and iOS. It extends a complete security solution to all smartphone devices. Beyond offering theft cover, Vodafone Red Shield offers malware protection and furthermore there are other security features as well.

The Premium:
So, there comes a question – should I pay for the premium? The answer is ‘No’. Vodafone will by itself borne the premium amount. There is a feeble subscription fee so that a lot of customers will be benefitted. From the customers’ monthly bill, as 12 equal installments, a sum of Rs 720 will be debited. The validity of Vodafone Red Shield is 1 year.
