Heat intensity abates due to rain: Prospects of rain today

With rain lashing the interior districts of Tamil Nadu, the intensity of the oppressive has come down over the last 2 days.
The intensity of heat has been especially severe during this summer throughout Tamil Nadu. People have been put to extreme hardship. At this juncture, the formation of a thermal convection caused rains over the last 2 days in the interior districts of Tamil Nadu. The rains have brought some relief from the heat. Though it did not rain in the coastal districts, as the effect of rain in the interior districts, the temperature has come down here as well.
The officials of the Chennai Meteorological Centre informed that there are good prospects for rain in the interior districts of Tamil Nadu today (Wednesday, 24th May) also.
They explained that it had been raining in the interior districts with cyclonic winds. This rain with cyclonic winds may continue today also in the interior districts. It may rain in a few places in the coastal districts also.
The recent rain has brought some respite to the people with the weather returning to normal conditions. This weather will prevail for the next few days.
