The temple corridors of Sabarimala to open on 3rd June

In order to perform the special pooja for the Tamil month Vaikasi, the temple corridors of the Sabarimala Swami Ayyappan temple were opened on the evening of 14th May.

From 15th May, apart from the regular prayers and special pooja were performed.

After the special events being performed over the last 5 days commencing on 14th May and the Vaikasi month Pooja came to a conclusion yesterday evening (Friday, 19th May).

At 10.00 PM (Friday, 19th May), after the chanting of the slogam Harivarasanam, the temple corridors were closed.

The day when the deity was first installed in the temple, 4th June, will be celebrated in a grand manner. For this purpose, the temple corridors will be opened by 5.00 PM on 3rd June. On 4th June, the regular pooja, including Nei Abhishekham will be performed.

The temple corridors will be closed the same evening (4th June). It will be reopened for the pooja to be performed for the start of the Tamil month Aani at 5.00 PM on 14th June. Special Aani month pooja will be performed for 5 days from 15th June to 19th June.
