WhatsApp introduces Pinned Chat feature

WhatsApp has gained tremendous user base across the world. There are millions of people using the platform for sharing messages with friends and family and in fact for official communication. Of these, there are a few users contact that are of prime importance and need these available for easy access as compared to other chats. So, here comes the Pinned Chat feature exactly to meet the need.
The feature was previously made available for beta users. With the Pinned Chat feature, users can pick 3 chats and have it atop of their chat list. If you need to pin a chat, just tap it and long hold it. You will get a pinning icon on the WhatsApp screen. For unpinning the option, you can follow the same method long presss of the pinned chat and you will get the option to unpin.
Only the Android platforms have this pinned chat feature. For this, WhatsApp users should get the mobile app updated from the PlayStore.
