All schools set to close for summer vacation from tomorrow (22nd April)

The schools all over the state of Tamil Nadu are set to close for summer vacation after the completion of the annual examinations from tomorrow (Saturday, 22nd April).
The public examinations for the students of 10th Standard and +2 got completed on 31st March.
For all primary schools, the summer vacation was set to start on 29th April, after the completion of the annual examinations.
However, the intensity of summer this year being quite high, the teachers and parents demanded an earlier closure for summer vacation, especially in order to protect the children from the scorching summer.
Following this, the state minister for education has announced that all schools will close for summer vacation after 21st April.
Accordingly, the annual examinations in schools are set to be completed today and the summer vacation will start from tomorrow, 22nd April.
