TRB releases annual examination schedule for the first time

The state minister for school education K. A. Sengottaiyan informed that 6390 vacant posts of school teachers including 2119 post graduate teachers in this academic year through TRB (Teachers Recruitment Board).

The state minister for education K. A. Sengottaiyan had a session with the press reporters yesterday (Tuesday, 18th April).

He informed that TRB is undertaking the responsibility of the selection of school and college teachers, lecturers, and assistant professors required in by schools and colleges.

6390 vacant posts of teachers will be filled up this year through TRB.

For the first ever time in the history of the Teachers recruitment Board, an annual examination timetable chart, filled with all details including the dates of examinations for specified posts and date of release of results is being released this year.

The appointment of teachers will be entirely transparent. Now, everyone is aware of the transparent process through which the appointments of school (government high school and government higher secondary schools) laboratory assistants was conducted.

A new system of organising a job opportunity guidance camp for the further education and employment for the students who have completed and written +2 and SSLC examinations has been introduced. Around 20 Lakh students participated and benefited.

Various new schemes and developments in education department

Until now, printed application forms were being used for applying to write the tests conducted by TRB. From this year, the facility to apply online is being introduced.

In case the strength of the students go down in any school, it will lead to surplus teachers in that school. In this category, there are about 5000 surplus teachers in southern districts of Tamil Nadu. The strength of students is very less especially in the classes from 1st Standard to 6th Standard. Meanwhile, a number of students keep joining in classes of 9th and 11th standards.This is attributed to the many development and welfare schemes announced by the state government. Thanks to the efforts and now the blessing of the late Chief Minister, the present government has been successfully introducing various new schemes for the benefit of the students and teachers.

The field of education is the forerunner and a guide for the entire country. During the presentation of the subsidies for the education department, the details regarding the syllabus of +2 classes will be taken up.

The department of education has undertaken a detailed research regarding the revised syllabus with the participation experience educationists including the ex-vice chancellors of universities. The revised syllabus will certainly match with the standards of CBSE.

Another avenue being explored is the possibility of offering preparatory training courses for the students proposing to write All India level examinations like NEET.
