Prospects of Rain in Tamil Nadu: Chennai Meteorological Centre

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are good prospects for rains today (Tuesday, 4th April) and tomorrow in the interior districts of Tamil Nadu due to the formation of thermal convection.
The centre reported that the temperature in Chennai Metro is 36 Degrees Celsius and this 1 Degree Celsius higher than yesterday.
It reported that a maximum temperature of 40 Degrees Celsius was recorded in Paramathi Velur in Karur district and Salem.
