Radisson BLU Hotel GRT celebrates Earth Hour

The famous Radisson BLU Hotel GRT, on GST Road celebrated ‘The Earth Hour’ on 25th March 2017 (Saturday). The Hotel was filled with candles all over to substitute the lights in public spaces, making the worldwide movement a memorable one. Celebrities from the southern film fraternity wrote their emphatic thoughts in preserving our mother nature. Actor Vishal participated in celebrations and posted his message on the board.
All the guests held lighted candles and paid respect to the earth for 5 minutes. Mr. U.Sasikimar, GM, Radisson BLU Hotel GRT said Earth Hour is a worldwide movement to create awareness among people about the consumption of electricity and climate change. We celebrate this special hour year on year in our hotel to show our love and respect for our Mother Earth.
As a symbolic representation, a special cake in a shape of analogue clock was made denoting the Earth Hour and the event ended by lighting up candles forming the phrase We Love Earth. Here is the event photos.
