Honda cars to have price hike from April

Owing to reasons including higher freight charges and input costs, there is going to be a price hike with Honda cars from April. Honda models will be priced for up to Rs 10,000 extra from 1st of next month. However, there is no change with the price of Honda WR-V, the company statement elaborates.
As the freight charges and input costs have increased, we are left with no other choice than to revise car prices for most of our models, said Jnaneswar Sen, the Senior Vice President and Marketing and Sales HCIL.
The new price will come to effect from April, he pointed.
Honda Brio, Honda Amaze, Honda Jazz, Honda WR-V, Honda City, Honda BR-V, Honda CR-V and Honda Accord Hybrid, etc are some of the product ranges with the company. These cars are priced of the range Rs 4.69 lakh to Rs 37 lakh.
It is to be noted that BMW made a 2 percent price hike of its models here in India which will be into effect starting from next month.
