+2 Public Examinations set to start tomorrow (2nd March)

The +2 Public examinations are slated start from tomorrow (Thursday, 2nd March).
9 Lakhs boys and girls students are writing the +2 Public Examinations. The State Examination Board had announced that the +2 Public Examinations in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry would be conducted from 2nd March to 30th March.
Accordingly, the +2 Public Examinations are set to start tomorrow (Thursday, 2nd March).
898763 students (boys and girls) from 6737 schools in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry are writing the +2 Public Examinations. 417952 are boys. 480810 are girls.
Apart from this, there are 31843 privates candidates and 88 prisoners writing this +2 Public Examinations.
A noteworthy point is that 569304 students have attended classes in Tamil medium.
2472 Examination Centres have been set up throughout the state. Flying squads operating under the education officers and school headmasters are deployed to monitor activities such as copying, using bits, etc.
Further, the district collectors, Divisional Officers, Taluk Officers, and Revenue Department Officers will undertake the task of surprise checks.
