Fasting on behalf of DMK on 22nd February

The Working President of DMK, M.K. Stalin, has announced that following the extremely undemocratic incidents in the Legislative assembly in recent times, protests by way of fasting will be taken up throughout Tamil Nadu on 22 February.
During the confidence voting session brought on the ruling party, the Police were brought inside the assembly against the normal procedure. The members of the main opposition DMK party were attacked.They were bundled out of the Legislative Assembly.
The resolution was passed against the laws of the Legislative Assembly.
Against the blatant undemocratic happenings, protest fasting will be undertaken by the DMK from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM in all the district capitals.
