Xiaomi to setup exclusive brand retail stores in India soon

In order to expand its mobile business in India, China company Xiaomi, will set up and operate brand retail stores in India.
Manu Jain who is the Indian head of Xiaomi, said: Last year during the months of March and April we had applied licence for setting up show rooms under the single brand retail license under the category of Cutting Edge Technology. We are confident that very soon we will be getting the permission. Through these showrooms, the mobile phones will be sold directly to the people. The rates of the phones will also be cheaper. The company is selling around 25 to 30 lakhs units of mobile phones every quarter, 75 percent of which is being made in India.
