Jio to launch numbers starting with the digit 6

After Reliance Jio flooded offers for the customer such as free data and voice calls to win the market leadership, the news is gathered that Jio has got the approval to allot new mobile numbers starting with 6 for its new customers.
It is a very noteworthy point that the DoT (Department of Telecommunication) has allotted this facility to Jio and it is the 1st time ever such approval is given.
It is understood that the DoT has given the approval to release 6 Series MSC (Mobile Switching Centre).
The 6 series numbers will be allotted in Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, and Goa. 7 series MSC will be adopted in Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. 9 series MSC will be adopted in Kolkata and Maharashtra.
It is further gathered that Jio is set to progress in State-related mobile services with the introduction of 6 series MSC.
