Madras High Court directs authorities to shut hotels without parking facility

Logu had filed a public litigation at the Madras High Court. In that petition he had mentioned that majority of the restaurants in the main roads of Chennai do not have parking lots which causes traffic congestion. Chief Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Justice M Sundar passed the order on this petition. The judges said: This case is pending for the last three years. So far none of the restaurants have taken efforts to arrange the parking lots for its customers. We cannot wait any further. Chennai Police and Chennai Corporation should immediately shut down these restaurants. In case if restaurants take action than this can be dispensed off.
