3616 persons affected by dengue fever

A Sri Lankan media informs that up to this period around 3616 persons have been affected by dengue fever throughout the country. Out of this,11 persons have died because of dengue fever.
Most patients have been diagnosed with dengue in the North, South, and upper areas of the country. Further, the news regarding the outbreak of dengue has been taken up as an awareness campaign by the Health Department of the Sri Lankan Government from today (Tuesday,24th January).
