"All the public caught in the prevailing traffic all over Chennai Metro are given a suggestion to take alternative recourse by taking either the local suburban train service or the Chennai Metro Rail Service. This would enable them to reach their destination as a safer measure".
- ROYAPETTAH: Avvai shanmugam salai, gaudia mutt road, RK salai stretch to gemini, royapettah whole high road blocked.
- Peter`s road to gemini bus going as usual. Peter`s road to meesarpet market blocked..
- New Avadi road completely blocked from both ends. People have tied telephone wires across poles to haul vehicles!
- Sterling Road signal coming from Sterling bus stop is completely blocked. Avoid. Instead use the route coming from Loyola College.
- Beach to Chengalpet suburban trains are still running. MRTS (Beach to Velachery) not working.
- Nungambakkam subway towards Loyola College is blocked and backed up till Anna arch.
- Only Manali-Madhavaram by pass is accessible from Thiruvottiyur
- Roads blocked in and around West Mambalam.,Don`t going near Duraisamy subway
- Adyar bridge - greenways Road safe.
- Llyods road through TTK and CP Ramaswamy road.. NO TRAFFIC!
- Pondybazaar to teynampet signal road is free but teynampet signal in Mount road is blocked
- Teynampet signal and mount road full jam , bazulah Road few buses are left to stand on road

- Passengers waiting to go Chennai airport can take the ChennaiMetro. It is functioning.
- Reaching OMR through Guindy->Velachery->Taramani is a bad idea. Roads blocked.
- OMR Apollo Hospital Perungudi Junction is fully blocked by protesters, please take 200ft route to reach Adyar.
- Velacherry bridge is fully blocked, take a diversion near bridge to get the medavakkam , pallikaranai road.
- Avoid Teynampet, T-nagar, T.T.K road. Heavy traffic. No buses. Very few share autos running.
- OMR Perungudi Toll Gate till Karapakkam there is no traffic(both ways), Autos are running.
- Many Government Bus (SETC & Vilupuram Bus) via Chennai ByPass are not stopping at Maduravoyal Erikaarai bus stop.Ppl who want to reach Perungalathur and boarding at Maduravoyal Erikaarai bus stop please hold 10Rs + 5 Rs as a change.
- Teynampet rd into T Nagar,Eldams Rd blckd too. Protests near Embassy on Cathedral Rd.velachery road & bridge blocked.
- Chennai Traffic was so terrible, 1 hr to move 100 meters, Roads are blocked in Ekkattuthangal 100ftroad please avoid Mountroad
- Not even a single MTC bus in CMBT bus terminus. Don`t depend on bus travel.
- No traffic from Villivakkam to CMBT. Normal follow of vehicles.

- Squatting on road near Guindy Station! Traffic towards tambaram stopped. City traffic crawling.
- Adyar and Thiruvanmiyur sides seem okay. No buses plying though. The approach from guindy side is chaotic.
- Not even a single MTC bus in CMBT bus terminus. Don`t depend on bus travel.
- Pillar and ashok nagar blocked by agitators out of reach.
- Valluvar kottam to Loyola roads are blocked.
- Nelson manikkam subway towards Nungambakkam blocked as students are protesting.
- Mahalingapuram to choolaimedu via Loyola, roads are on but heavy traffic.

- Southern Railway has cancelled six trains and rescheduled Duronto Express for Monday.
The Chennai Central–Hazrat Nizamuddin Duronto Express (train no.12269), scheduled to leave Chennai Central at 6.40 a.m., would leave at 9.30 p.m. as a result of the pairing train running late.
Trains including the Chennai Egmore–Kochuveli (train no. 06015), Pollachi–Palakkad Town passenger (train no. 6712), Palakkad Town–Tiruchchirappalli passenger (train no. 56712) , Palakkad Town–Palani passenger (train no. 6769), Karaikudi—Tiruchchirappalli passenger (train no. 76830) and Vanchi Maniyachchi—Tuticorin passenger (train no. 16612) have been cancelled. - Mount Road / Beach road reportedly quite congested (as expected). Kindly plan accordingly

- Heavy traffic jam in OMR, as students stage a road rokho to condemn police atrocities on Jallikattu supporters.
- In accordance to the heavy line of protest against the Jallikattu issue, many youngsters and protesters staged a road roko at Old Mahabalipuram Road that created a heavy havoc to commuters through the way.
Following the heavy strike against the protesters by police at Marina Beach, many youngsters have amalgamated at different parts of Chennai to stage the protest. Accordingly, the students and youngsters blocked the road sitting as barricade at Old Mahabalipuram Road. This turned out to be a shocking bizarre to see that the road measuring upto a distance of 25Kms were blocked for nearly 2 hours. - Across the lanes of Taramani, school students protested against police department for attacking the students.
- Apart from these areas, locales around Kodambakkam, Kilpauk and many many more areas in Chennai are being affected, particularly through Anna Salai, Kamaraj Salai, Dr Natesan road.
