According to one of the people who have taken a stall at the Chennai Book Fair, reading a piece of paper upside down can increase your reading speed.

Speaking about this, Mr. S.R. Venkat says, First, read the piece of paper, count the number of words. Then, read any piece of paper upside down. When the first bit of paper is read again after this, the reading speed in terms of words per minute would have increased by at least 15 per cent - an effect that would last an hour.

Mr. Venkat has written a bestseller called How to excel in studies and score high. The book has many techniques that take you just about five minutes.

The Chennai Book Fair has 700 stalls this year, out of which there are about 200 stalls for English publications and sellers while the rest are dedicated to Tamil publishers and sellers.
