ESIC new schemes

Regional Director has mentioned that the wage limit has been increased in order to join ESI scheme.
ESI Corporation has taken two important decisions. One of the decisions is that ESI has raised the monthly wage threshold to Rs 21,000, from the current Rs 15,000, for coverage under its health insurance scheme.
Another decision is ESI`s amnesty scheme SPREE for promoting Registration of Employers and Employees to extend social security to the entire workforce and providing a one time opportunity to the workers and employees to register all eligible under the Act from December 20 to March 31, 2017.
