Extension of time for paying Electricity Bill in 3 districts in Tamil Nadu

The State Electricity Minister of Tamil Nadu, Mr. Thangamani has announced that time extension has been given for payment of electricity bills in 3 districts which were severely affected by the recent cyclone Vardha.

Extension of time has been given for paying the Electricity Bills in the 3 districts - Chennai, Kanchipuram, and Thiruvallur - which have been severely affected by Varda.
The customers of these 3 districts can pay their Electricity Bills up to 31st December. Earlier, the deadline for payment was fixed at 20th December.It has been explained that this time extension has been given due to the existing cash shortage as well as the severe damages caused by the cyclone Varda.
