Last date to apply for TNPSC Group 1 service will not be extended

TNPSC has announced that the last date for applying for Group 1 services will not be extended.
Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission had invited applications only through online mode upto 08.12.2016 for direct recruitment to the vacancies in the posts Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police (category-I), Assistant Commissioner (C.T.), District Registrar, District Employment Officer and District Officer (Fire and Rescue Service) included in CCS-I Examination (Group-I Services).The notification to fill up the 85 vacancies were issued on 9th November. Graduates who have been aged 21 years are eligible to apply for these posts. The preliminary examinations will be held throughout Tamil Nadu in 32 centres.
At this juncture, the secretary of TNPSC has mentioned: The last date to apply for the posts in CCS-I Examination (Group-I Services) will not be extended. In view of this candidates are requested not to wait till the last date to submit their application. On the last date many candidates will attempt to submit their applications. This will result in delay and technical problems. Applicants should submit the details as per online instructions. Once filled, the applicants cannot change the details after some time. Hence the applicants are requested to carefully fill their applications.
