Pull effect rains possible in Chennai today and tomorrow morning

Only Chennai and its lakes region got some heavy rains from the Cyclone Nada with Mahabalipuram topping the charts getting 111 mm and nearby Tirukazhukundram 66 mm, Hindustan University 65 mm, Redhills Lake 57 mm, Cholavaram Lake 57 mm and Sathyabama University 55 mm. Delta region and others places in TN got widespread moderate rains ranging from 20-40 mm.
Which places might get rains today

Today the district of Erode, Tiruppur, Kovai, Theni, Dindugul will get some rains. A special watch is needed in Nilgiris as the weakened Nada now as a low pressure area will try to move towards into Arabain sea so the mositure pull is expected to get trapped and give good rains to Coonoor belt. The ghat areas in Kovai district too will get some rains.

Chennai, ECR and surrounding regions will get some rains today and tomorrow morning too. Its is common for Chennai to get rains when system moves into Arabian Sea. Chennai and its is surroundings are ideally placed for these type of rains.
