Swami Vivekanandha, born as Narendranath Datta was a disciple of Ramakrishna. He is known for having introduced Vedanta and Yoga of Indian philosophy to the western world. It was with his efforts that Hinduism got wide-spread across the world and became known as one among the major world religions.
