Petrol bunks stop functioning throughout the country

The Petroleum Traders’ Association has announced that with their demand to offer more commission, all the petrol bunks in the country will be closed from 7.15 PM tonight (Wednesday, 19th October).
The association representatives informed that this demand was put forward in the year 2010 and several protests and demonstrations had been organized over these last few years but te central government has not come out with any solutions so far.
It is informed that 4500 petrol bunks in the state of Tamil Nadu and Pudhucherry and 54000 petrol bunks throughout the country would participate in this strike.
In order to register their protest against this, the sales of petrol will be stopped at 7.15 PM tonight. The light will be put off.
