Polaris Industries forays into South with Chennai

Polaris India Pvt. Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Polaris Industries Inc., the world leader in off-road and multi-terrain vehicles today forayed into Chennai with the unprecedented launch of their off-road vehicles. The price range of the lifestyle and the luxury product which starts from 2.84 Lakhs onwards will be available in Chennai through MPL Adventure Sports Vehicles Pvt. Ltd.
Commenting on the development, Mr. Pankaj Dubey, Managing Director, Polaris India Pvt. Ltd., said, “Polaris Industries is the World leader in Off-Road Vehicles and recently decided to venture into India. Chennai is one of the key markets for us in India. We foresee huge interest and business potential in the market and thus, have appointed MPL Adventure Sports Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. as our dealer, to offer our innovative products in Chennai market. In the first phase, we are launching our flagship products including ATVs, Polaris RANGER RZR® Side-by-Side vehicles and Snowmobiles in India. We are hopeful of giving lot of adventure and utility experience on off-roads in Chennai.”
Speaking about the market scenario, Mr. Dubey said “The specialized automobile market is at a nascent stage in India. Our principal aim is to sensitize the consumers and create a new market for the possible options available in recreational vehicles such as ATVs, RANGER, RZR Side-by-Side vehicles and snowmobiles, and to generate more interest in these activities. We will focus on the utility application of our vehicles in areas of construction, mining, farming, forest, military, police and Para military forces”
