BlackBerry to use more Android technology

BlackBerry has announced that it will be using more Android technology in its phones. The smartphone already uses the Samsung Exynos chipset in its model Priv.
An official from BlackBerry has said, It (using the chip set) wouldn`t be a once-off (thing). (The license to use Android) is too expensive and it is a mass market product – it is for consumers, it is for enterprise, and is really for anyone who likes the keyboard and the versatility of the operating system. Google so far has been pretty supportive about BlackBerry building an Android-powered smartphone.
The company is believed to be launching a smartphone with a 5.1 inch QHD display, powered by Android. The device will have an octal core Samsung Exynos 7420 chip which is found in the high end devices from Samsung. It will also have a RAM of 3 GB and internal storage of 32 GB.
