Rajesh Lakkani as the New Chief Electoral Officer?

There are information that Rajesh Lakkani is appointed as the new Chief Electoral Officer. Sandeep Saxena who was earlier in the position got positioned as the Deputy Election Commissioner with the Chief Election Commission.
Following this, a discussion took place to decide on the successor in this position. The meeting was held yesterday and it is rumored that Rajesh Lakkani is selected for the post. He is presently functioning as the state commissioner of agriculture and Chief secretary with the government. Official announcement about the same is expected shortly.
