Practo and Infosys CEOs most popular with employees

Data from a US based job hunting website has shown that CEOs from companies such as Practo, which is a healthcare platform, and Flipkart, India’s biggest e-commerce company, have a higher rating. These ratings are compared to CEOs of other major new ages ventures.
Employees rated their employees. Practo`s CEO Shashank ND has a 100% approval rating; Flipkart`s Sachin Bansal has a 94% approval rating. other top grossers are Snapdeal’s Kunak Bahl at 91% and Zomato`s Deepinder Goyal at 88%. The relatively less popular CEOs are Olacabs’ Bhavesh Aggarwal at 70% and Paytm’s Vijay Sekhar Sharma at 69%.
Companies were also rated overall (out of 5 points) based on culture and values, work life balance, senior management, compensation and benefits and career opportunities. In this segment, Flipkart scored 3.9, Practo 3.5, Zomato 3.3 and Snapdeal 3.3. All ratings are based on employee feedback.
Say the data collectors and experts, `Companies with high ratings tend to have engaged and motivated employees who believe in the company`s mission, feel that their job matters, and feel they have career opportunities to advance within their organization. They also tend to share that they feel they get paid fair market value, are heard by senior leaders, and enjoy some great benefits and perks, too. For big companies, it would have been good to have an option for employees to rate the entire management team, as it gives a more holistic view. But for startups, the ratings are a true reflection, because the CEO is the manager, he is always in touch with his employees and is hands on.`
Data was also collected for major IT companies in the country. The highest rating went to Infosys’ Vishal Sikka at 95%. Following him were Cognizant’s Francisco D’Souza at 94%, TCS`s Natarajan Chandrasekharan at 87%, Wipro’s T.K. Kurien at 74% and HCL’s Anant Gupta at 69%. The employees were also ask if they would recommend their companies to their friends. In this, Cognizant stood at top position at 78%, followed by TCS at 70%, Infosys at 67%, HCL at 61% and Wipro at 60%. Overall, Cognizant stood first at 3.5, followed by TCS and Infosys and 3.3 and HCL and Wipro at 3.1.
