24 is a film which has Surya and Samantha in the lead roles. This film is being directed by Vikram Kumar who had earlier directed the supernatural thriller Yaavarum Nalam. AR Rahman is composing the music. The shooting of the film is taking in full fledged manner. Now there is news there is another female lead role in the film. Nithya Menon has been signed for the role. A source says, Nithya`s dates for the film have already been finalised. She is expected to start shooting from tomorrow. Apart from Samantha, there is another female lead in the film and the production house had been in talks with many leading ladies for that role. Now, Nithya has bagged it. The film`s team has been camping in Mumbai for a long time and they have been canning some major portions in Mumbai.
