State Chief Electoral Officer Sandeep Saxena said the names of the people who have been said to have dead can be included if they are alive.
State Chief Electoral Officer Sandeep Saxena has mentioned that Details of Aadhaar cards of 2.64 crore voters out of the total 5.62 crore electors in Tamil Nadu has been successfully seeded in the electoral database.
State Chief Electoral Officer Sandeep Saxena while speaking said, “Due to the "co-operation of the electors and the quality work of Electoral Officers, out of the total 5.62 crore electors in Tamil Nadu, so far details of Aadhaar of 2.64 crore electors have been successfully seeded in the electoral database. The draft electoral rolls would be published in October and that missed out entries and errors could be corrected in the time-frame before the final rolls are published in January 2016.”
