Sales of cars up by 2%!!

Sales of car registered a 2% increase during the month of June.
The total number of cars sold was 162677.
This is comparable to the corresponding period of the previous year of 160232.
Sales of motorbikes also increased marginally. 877696 vehicles were sold this June as compared to previous June’s 877289.
Total number of 2-wheelers sold during June stood at 1307710. This amounts to an increase in sales by 4% as compared to previous year.
Sales of commercial vehicles recorded a mild growth. 51446 vehicles were sold.
All vehicles put together, there was a 3% increase in sales up from 1580173 to 1620673.
