IAS/IPS results to be released today (4th July)!

Results of all Civil Services examinations including IAS & IPS are scheduled to be released today (Saturday, 4th July) evening.
For the first time in history, the results are being announced 4 days after the completion of interview and management tests.
Civil services examinations are conducted in 3 stages – Primary examination, Main examination, and interview. The selected candidates are to serve as high officials in IAS, IPS, and IFS.
Preliminary examination was conducted last August. 9.45 lakh candidates had applied. 16932 candidates were successful.
Main examination was conducted last December. 16286 candidates were successful. Out of this, 3308 candidates were sleeted to participate in the skills (management) tests and interview.
