Indian Railway: Search name for the bullet train between Chennai & Delhi!!

As the eagerly expecting parents would spend joyous hours thinking of a nice name for there to-be-born child, Indian Railway has sought the public  feedback/suggestion for the name to be given to the (not yet run) bullet train between Chennai & Delhi.

One of the dream projects of the prime minister, ‘bullet rain’ project to link all major cities of India   cost of several thousand crores.

India Railway employees have come up with name like ‘pushpak’, ‘theesra’, ‘Garud’, etc.

Local language name have been given for the bullet trains running in other countries. For example, the bullet trains operating in Japan are called ‘shinkansen’. In China, they are called ‘Shanghai Maglev’. In France, they are known as TGV.

The first bullet train in India would be between Chennai & Delhi. The cost estimated is Rs. 98000 Crores. Indian Railway Officials inform that the train will run  at 350 km per hour.
