Delhi concludes Maggie harmful for consumption

Maggie noodles from Nestle India has been one of the favorite foods for children and adults as well. Officials from the Food safety and security, Uttar Pradesh founded that it contains excessive amount of monosodium glutamate than allowed quantity. As this is highly harmful for consumption, the Uttar Pradesh government banned the product and took this issue to the court, opposing the product. Furthermore, Madhuri Dixit who acted in the noodles TV commercial was sent a notice demanding an explanation.
 
Amidst these, the Food safety and standards authority has been involved in collecting samples of noodles and inspect the same from different states. It was said that the result will be announced in a day or two. Most of the Indian states banned the sale of Maggie noodles. In Haryana, Karnataka, and other states, samples of noodles were collected and necessary tests were done on it. The final call on the issue is likely to be taken today, said food safety department of West Bengal. New Delhi also got involved in inspecting the noodles with about 13 packets. It is said that the Delhi tests have concluded the noodles to be harmful for consumption.
